Curbside Recycling Guide
All residents of Indiana Borough and White Township are required by municipal ordinance to recycling the following items:
Aluminum & Steel/Bi-Metal Cans
Glass Bottles & Jars
Leaf Waste
Weekly curbside collection of aluminum & steel/bi-metal cans; clear, brown & green glass bottles & jars; newspapers; and #1 & #2 plastic bottles is available to all households in Indiana Borough and White Township.
Bins will be emptied weekly on your scheduled pickup day. Your bins must be at the curbside or at the end of your driveway by 7:30 a.m. on your pickup day.
If an orange sticker was placed on your bin, this means your bin was rejected. The sticker will list the reason your bin was rejected. Bins may be rejected if plastic bottles are not kept separate from other materials, or if they contain items that aren't approved for curbside recycling, or if they contain broken glass, garbage, food waste, or other non-recyclable materials. If your bin is rejected, please clean it out and remove the sticker.
If your scheduled pickup day falls on a holiday -- your recyclables will not be picked up until the following week.

*Note: Residents will now have two bins for their curbside collections.
Your scheduled pick up day will remain the same for both bins.
